Sales & Marketing: Ticket Operations
Coordinator, Ticket Operations - Toronto Argonauts Football Club (Toronto, ON)

Position Summary

Assist in the coordination of daily operations of the ticketing department including the design, conceptualization, implementation, and sales of ticket packages and programs. Monitor customer relations with account executives to ensure optimal customer service. This position will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the franchise’s CRM system and utilizing data to aid in sales and marketing initiatives. Also responsible for sales reporting and custom analytics projects.

Principal Responsibilities

Operations

  • Assist with allocation of seating, construction of manifest configurations and data entry for customer renewals
  • Printing, distribution, and reconciliation of ticket sales for all events including season and single game events
  • Assist in execution of studies and reports on account executive performances
  • Deck,voucher and certificate builds as required
  • Provide information and customer service to guests and fans
  • Assist in managing the Argonauts Client Services inbox
  • Box Office duties on game days alongside Management
  • Manage prize redemptions and certificates that have been donated by the Argonauts organization
  • Coordinate sales strategy with Management and account executives in the sales of ticket packages

Data Analytics

  • Understand and assist with the development of procedures/tools to maintain data quality
  • Execute data hygiene plan with all data sources: standardize, cleanse, de-dupe, enrich, validate
  • Execute regular data audits
  • Monitor that data entry standards are being met
  • Normalize and execute data entry and integration processes
  • Extract and analyze data from database
  • Provide analysis to identify current at-risk customers and support the development of the customer lifecycle (casual to season)
  • Maintain the constant and consistent flow of information in the ticketing system to provide the most up to date leads for sales team campaigns  
  • Perform special assignments as needed to achieve department objectives

Qualifications and Critical Skills

  • Possess strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Have a working knowledge of the Ticketmaster/Archtics ticketing system, or a similar ticketing system
  • Work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Academic background in business or sports management

 Scope

  • Reports to the Director, Ticket Operations

Key Internal Relationships

  • Will work closely with account executives as well as all department heads to ensure all ticket orders are efficiently processed

Key External Relationships

  • Interact regularly with clients and fans to provide customer service and fulfill ticket requests
  • Direct contact for members of the Argos Alumni Association, CFL players and staff, fulfilling ticket orders and requests
  • Interact with Ticketmaster staff in coordinating ticketing operations, logistics management, training on Archtics, etc.

Sales Representative, Ticket Sales & Service - Toronto Argonauts Football Club (Toronto, ON)

Position Summary:

The Argonauts are seeking Sales Representatives to be part of an enthusiastic group that is motivated and focused on reaching and exceeding team goals. The expectation is to sell all ticket products, including season tickets, mini game packages, group tickets and premium seating. 

Qualifications and Critical Skills:

  • Post Secondary degree/diploma required
  •  Degree/diploma in Business Administration preferred
  • Sales experience preferred, sports sales experience a plus
  • Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate and adapt to clients
  • Excellent time management, works well in a team environment, strong attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, naturally aggressive, with a positive attitude
  • Exemplary self-discipline, professionalism, pride and work ethic
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task effectively and with a sense of urgency, sometimes under a high level of stress
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Flexible hours required: working evenings/nights, weekends and holidays

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the sale of Toronto Argonauts ticket products, specifically season and group tickets
  • Proficient on our ticket operating system (Archtics)
  • Strong product and team knowledge
  • Full participation in extensive outbound/inbound call campaigns including meeting outbound call requirements
  • Generate maximum revenue using all sales methods including and not limited to outbound calling, face-to-face appointments, prospecting, and networking 
  • Attend team, community, and other events for purpose of maximizing sales opportunities
  • Manage and maintain prospects and pipeline effectively
  • Continually develop new business through prospecting techniques and outgoing contacts
  • Ensure utmost in quality customer service at all times
